Bramwith ConsultingProcurement Business Partner – Technology & Indirects London | £70,000 - £90,000 + Strong Bonus & Benefits | 3 days per week in office To apply or find out more, please contact Adam at a.venting@bramwith.com We're supporting a leading international organisation with the appointment of a newly created Procurement Business Partner, joining at an exciting stage in the development of its central Procurement function. Historically, procurement activity has been managed across different areas of the business. With investment now being made into a centralised model, they are looking for an experienced IT Procurement professional who can build strong stakeholder relationships, bring Procurement into conversations earlier and demonstrate the commercial value the function can deliver. You'll initially focus on Technology and Market Data, operating within a complex, fast-paced environment where technology is critical to the organisation's day-to-day operations. Over time, your remit will expand across wider indirect spend, while remaining hands-on across strategic sourcing, tendering, commercial negotiations, contracting and supplier management. As a Procurement Business Partner, you will:
- Lead end-to-end sourcing across Technology, IT, Market Data and wider Indirect spend.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, becoming a trusted commercial partner to the business.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand complex technology requirements and translate these into effective procurement strategies.
- Manage competitive tenders, supplier evaluations and complex commercial negotiations.
- Develop category and sourcing strategies aligned with business priorities.
- Manage key supplier relationships and identify opportunities for cost optimisation and value creation.
- Work closely with Legal, Finance and other functions throughout the sourcing and contracting process.
- Help embed Procurement more effectively across the organisation and encourage earlier engagement with the function. Required Experience:
- 5+ years' procurement, strategic sourcing or category management experience.
- Strong IT / Technology category management experience is essential, with demonstrable ownership of complex technology sourcing initiatives.
- Experience working within a similarly complex, commercially driven environment, ideally Energy Trading, Commodities, Financial Services or another organisation with sophisticated technology requirements.
- Strong strategic sourcing, tendering and commercial negotiation experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and business partnering skills, with the confidence and credibility to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to challenge and influence while operating with autonomy.
- Experience across Market Data and broader Indirect categories would be advantageous. Why join? This is an opportunity to join Procurement at an early stage of its development and play an important role in strengthening how the function partners with the wider business. The organisation offers a flat, fast-moving environment with significant trust and autonomy, alongside a strong bonus and benefits package. To apply, please contact Adam at a.venting@bramwith.com.
