The Role We are looking for a senior, commercially minded lawyer to join the legal team and become a key partner to the business. This is a broad in-house role, with significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to take ownership of a wide range of legal matters. The ideal candidate will be someone the business can genuinely lean on — comfortable operating autonomously, getting close to the commercial issues, and providing practical advice in a fast-moving environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and negotiate complex customer and supply chain agreements, including commercial contracts with customers, suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners.
  • Advise on a broad range of commercial technology matters, including technology procurement, SaaS, software, services, licensing, and related agreements.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory matters arising from the company's operations and growth.
  • Support the business on compliance matters, including anti-bribery and corruption, modern slavery, and broader corporate compliance.
  • Provide advice on corporate governance, including board and corporate matters.
  • Manage and develop the company's trademark and IP portfolio.
  • Partner closely with commercial, procurement, operations, technology, and business leadership teams.
  • Work alongside the business on strategic projects, new market expansion, and other matters as the company scales.
  • Help continue to build and mature the company's in-house legal infrastructure and processes. Experience
  • 7–10+ years PQE, with strong relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in commercial and technology law, ideally gained within a sophisticated law firm and/or in-house environment.
  • Meaningful experience negotiating customer, supplier, procurement, technology, and commercial agreements.
  • Strong in-house experience is preferred, particularly within a fast-growing or technology-led business.
  • Data center / digital infrastructure experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Lawyers from adjacent sectors such as technology, telecoms, energy infrastructure, construction, or real estate may also be relevant, particularly where they have significant customer or supply-chain exposure.
  • Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and operating with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Commercially minded, pragmatic, and able to balance legal risk with business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and the character to operate as a trusted advisor to the business.
  • Experience with compliance, corporate governance, and IP/trademarks would be advantageous.
