Technology, Data and AI Transformation Lead

We're less interested in AI demos. We're more interested in what moves EBITDA. Technology creates value when it makes a business fundamentally better — more productive, more scalable, more insightful, easier to integrate or more valuable at exit. Valexis is looking for Technology, Data & AI Transformation Leaders who can bridge the gap between technology possibility and commercial reality. What you'll do You'll work with portfolio company management teams to identify and deliver technology-enabled value creation. Depending on the business, that could include:

• Assessing technology, data and digital maturity
• Building pragmatic technology roadmaps aligned with the investment thesis
• Identifying high-value AI and automation opportunities
• Developing data strategies that improve management decision-making
• Leading ERP, platform, infrastructure or application transformation
• Prioritising initiatives according to commercial value rather than technological novelty
• Managing technology vendors and implementation partners
• Translating technical programmes into a clear commercial narrative for Boards and investors
• Demonstrating how technology investment has contributed to EBITDA, scalability or enterprise value What we're looking for We're interested in people who can comfortably have a conversation with an engineer in the morning and a PE partner in the afternoon. You might come from technology consulting, CIO/CTO leadership, data transformation, digital transformation, ERP programmes or AI and automation. What matters is that you:
• Understand technology deeply enough to challenge it
• Think commercially enough to prioritise it
• Can distinguish genuinely transformative technology from expensive distraction
• Know how to turn a roadmap into delivery
• Communicate complexity simply
