Finance Officer

📌 Hiring: Finance Officer (Remote) CURA HOMECARE, Hever Care, and Roberts Care & Training Ltd are UK home care and housing support providers. We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to take day-to-day ownership of our finance function — bookkeeping, invoicing, credit control, supplier payments and payroll preparation. 📍 Location: Remote 🕘 Hours: UK business hours, Monday to Friday 🤝 Engagement: Independent contractor 💼 Compensation: Commensurate with experience – to be discussed at interview stage 📝 What you'll own:

• Keeping Xero current — coding, reconciliations, investigating unmatched items
• Invoicing four Scottish Health & Social Care Partnerships plus Self-Directed Support and private clients
• Credit control and aged-debt management
• Supplier payment runs, prepared for director approval
• Payroll data preparation, checks and reconciliation
• Monthly management information and cashflow reporting 🎯 What we're looking for:
• Practical bookkeeping experience on a cloud accounting system (Xero strongly preferred)
• Bank reconciliation, sales invoicing and credit control experience
• Experience supporting a payroll process
• Strong Excel and excellent written and spoken English
• A reliable home workspace with backup power and internet
