Interim Mergers and Acquisitions Director

About the Company We are partnering with a high-growth, private equity-backed tech-enabled platform to appoint an Interim M&A Director to support an ambitious buy-and-build strategy during a critical phase of expansion. Backed by a leading mid-market investor, the business has scaled rapidly through a combination of strong organic growth and a highly successful acquisition programme, having already completed multiple transactions. About the Role This is a hands-on, in-house interim appointment working closely with the C-suite and wider M&A team. The role is focused on driving execution across the M&A lifecycle. You will play a key leadership role in delivering the M&A strategy on an interim basis, with a strong emphasis on execution. Responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisition opportunities introduced by senior leadership and external channels
• Lead financial modelling, valuation analysis, and preparation of investment materials
• Manage transactions end-to-end, coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors
• Oversee due diligence across financial, legal, tax, commercial, and operational workstreams
• Support negotiation, structuring, and successful execution of deals through to completion
• Run multiple live transactions simultaneously, maintaining discipline and momentum across processes Required Skills
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and deal execution skills
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working closely with senior leadership and investors
