3rd Line Storage and PKI Engineer

Location: Hampshire – Basingstoke, 5 days per week on customer site, with periodic travel to other customer sites Working Pattern: Shift working, 0700–1500 and 1100–1900 on a rotating pattern Type: Contract, outside IR35 Rate: Open to discussion Clearance: UK Sole National with active DV Clearance Company: Tektora, supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider Tektora are supporting a leading Defence and National Security IT provider who are looking to speak with DV Cleared 3rd Line Storage and PKI Engineers for a contract opportunity supporting a high profile user community on a high level government account. This role would suit someone with strong storage and public key infrastructure support experience who is comfortable within a change-controlled secure environment and is looking to develop further across cloud storage and PKI delivery. The Role You Will Be Involved In

• Responding to escalations from 2nd Line and completing daily checks
• Maintaining and supporting the PKI solution
• Attending PKI activities, requiring travel to other sites several days a month
• Maintaining and supporting the backup and storage solution, providing timely updates to the Operations Lead
• Carrying out planned activities through a Change Management process
• Monitoring the system using Event Management tooling and responding to incidents through the Incident process
• Triaging incidents and escalating through the Service Management team
• Carrying out readiness assessments for new releases entering service from the Engineering team
• Producing and maintaining documentation such as work instructions and patching schedules Key Experience Required
• UK Sole National with active DV Clearance
• Storage solutions experience, for example Dell Avamar and Data Domain
• Public key technologies, for example Microsoft or Thales
• Cloud infrastructure storage experience
• VMware cloud technologies
• Willing to work a rotating shift pattern and travel to other customer sites Desirable Experience
• ITSM tooling and processes
• Server administration, for example Microsoft Windows Server
• Event management tooling such as SCOM, use of rather than administration
• VMware vCenter, use of rather than administration Interested?
