IT Project Manager - Leading Investment Bank

Our client is a tier-1 Leading Investment bank, currently seeking an experienced and dynamic IT Project Manager to join their team based in Hong Kong. Positioned within a high-impact technology group, you will drive project delivery and business analysis across the firm's Fixed Income sales and trading ecosystem. You will work closely with senior business stakeholders, product leads, and regional engineering teams to execute critical business expansion and complex regulatory change initiatives. If you thrive on leading front-to-back technology delivery, navigating complex trade life cycles, and managing multi-disciplinary projects within capital markets, this role offers exceptional strategic visibility, regional exposure, and high business impact. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project management and business analysis for the Fixed Income business, conducting feasibility studies for new initiatives.
• Oversee and track the portfolio of technology initiatives delivered for front-office sales and trading desks.
• Partner with technology silos, operations, and finance teams to coordinate front-to-back testing and deployment.
• Manage regional business expansion (new products) and regulatory change projects from impact analysis to implementation.
• Help prioritize the business technology pipeline to align demand with regional delivery capacity.
• Standardize project execution and risk management processes across the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree with 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in a top-tier financial institution or management consulting firm.
• Strong track record in hands-on IT project management supporting capital markets, sales, and trading.
• Deep understanding of the Project Lifecycle (PLC) and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage changing priorities under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored for senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Project, MS Excel, and standard project management software.
• Knowledge of Asia/Global markets, fixed income products, securities, derivatives, or major capital markets regulatory initiatives is highly desirable.
