We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join a friendly and welcoming specialist school in the Southampton area on a temporary basis until the Christmas holidays.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm
• Term Time Only
• Pay Rate: Approximately £100 per day

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and serving of food
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Supporting kitchen staff during busy lunch periods
• Clearing and cleaning dining and kitchen areas
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Creating a positive dining experience for pupils and staff

What We're Looking For

• Previous catering, kitchen or food service experience desirable
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of food hygiene standards (preferred but not essential)
