About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and growing commercial print business in Somerset. We are looking for a Print Finisher to join our busy cut-sheet finishing department.

This role focuses on cut-sheet print finishing and is not a large-format finishing position.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a range of print finishing equipment
• Guillotining and cutting printed materials to specification
• Folding leaflets, brochures, and booklets
• Laminating printed products
• Creasing and perforating printed materials
• Operating booklet-making and binding equipment
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure high standards are maintained
• Reading and following job specifications accurately
• Packing and preparing completed jobs for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Supporting colleagues across the production department when required

Ideal Candidate

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in:

• Print finishing
• Commercial print environments
• Guillotine operation
• Folding and booklet-making machinery
• Laminating equipment
• Bindery or post-press operations
• Print production or manufacturing environments

You'll also be:

• Reliable and punctual

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• A strong team player
• Keen to learn new skills and develop within the business

Desirable Experience

Experience using machinery such as:

• Polar Guillotines
• Morgana Folding Equipment
• Duplo Finishing Machines
• Horizon Booklet Makers
• Other commercial print finishing equipment
