Positions Available🩰 Ballet Teachers For our growing programme of ballet classes across Plymouth and Ivybridge. We're looking for teachers who can inspire students, develop technique and make every class enjoyable and engaging. ⭐ Lower School Teachers For our younger students, delivering fun, energetic and age-appropriate performing arts sessions. This could include elements of dance, drama, singing and musical theatre, depending on the class. 💃 Dance Teachers We're looking for enthusiastic dance teachers across a range of styles to join our expanding timetable. 🎭 Musical Theatre Teachers For teachers who can bring together acting, singing and dance to create exciting, engaging musical theatre experiences for our students. 🎉 Party Hosts We're also looking for confident, energetic performers to host our SJ Events performing arts-themed parties! If you love entertaining children, getting involved and creating memorable experiences, this could be perfect for you. 🔄 Casual Cover Teachers We're always looking to build our pool of reliable casual teachers who can step in to cover classes when needed. What You'll Be Doing

• Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate sessions
• Inspire and motivate students of different ages and abilities
• Create a positive, inclusive and supportive environment
• Help students develop their skills, confidence and performance abilities
• Work collaboratively with the wider SJ team
• Provide encouragement and feedback to support student progress
• Support workshops, events, performances and parties where appropriate
• Bring energy, enthusiasm and plenty of SJ spirit to every session! What We're Looking For We're looking for people who are:
• Passionate about performing arts and working with children and young people
• Confident, enthusiastic and engaging
• Reliable, professional and committed
• Creative and able to deliver fun, inspiring sessions
• Positive and supportive team players
• Experienced in their chosen performing arts discipline
• Comfortable working with a range of ages and abilities Experience working with children and young people is preferred, with at least one year's experience desirable, although we will consider enthusiastic applicants with the right skills and attitude. Relevant dance, performing arts, teaching or coaching qualifications are a bonus, depending on the role. You must hold, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check. Why Join Team SJ?
