Family Solicitor

Our Family team covers the whole of the UK, with personnel in Glasgow, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Newcastle. As a Family Solicitor you will be required to help develop and expand our Family Law practice in the North West. You will work closely with the head of department Fiona Davidson to ensure excellent client service. Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload of private client work with appropriate supervision
• Assist other case handlers in the team and wider department with their cases as may be required
• Advise and take instructions from clients in relation to their financial matters, children cases, domestic abuse, pre nups and cohab agreements
• Attend court on behalf of clients
• Prepare correspondence, notes and court paperwork
• Assist with marketing the services of the team and wider department
• Achieve financial targets and KPIs
• Ensure relevant deadlines and quality measures are adhered to
• Comply with relevant Weightmans client policies and procedures
• Work in accordance with Weightmans' values
