An In House Litigation Solicitor opportunity based in West Yorkshire, offering a varied defendant litigation caseload across employers liability, public liability, road traffic accident, property damage and consumer disputes.

Description The In House Litigation Solicitor will be:

• Managing a portfolio of defendant litigation matters from pre action through to resolution, including higher value and complex claims
• Advising on legal strategy, risk, settlement opportunities and compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements
• Working closely with paralegals, managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective outcomes and excellent client service
• Supporting legal operations initiatives, process improvements, reporting and the development of best practice documentation
• Contributing to colleague development through mentoring, feedback and knowledge sharing Profile The In House Litigation Solicitor should be:
• A Solicitor or CILEX lawyer with litigation practice rights
• Experienced in litigation with a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules
• Comfortable managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
• Commercially aware and confident communicating with stakeholders at different levels
• Interested in legal technology, process improvement and modern ways of working Job Offer
• Competitive salary between £50,000 and £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.
