Campaign Liaison Manager

Role: Campaign Liaison Manager Salary: £56,526.71 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,195. Location: Head Office London and Westminster Duration: 1 Year Fixed Term Contract and for the period only that Andy Burnham is Leader of the Labour Party and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. There is the potential for the contract to be extended. The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Campaign Liaison Manager. The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring joined up communication and engagement between Government, the Parliamentary Labour Party and the wider Party around Government policy and the Leader's priorities. The role holder will manage key political projects and support collaborative working between internal and external audiences, helping to deliver effective Labour Party campaigns. The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent knowledge of political communications, campaigning and message development
• Understanding the roles and communication needs of MPs, Mayors, elected representatives and their staff
• Knowledge of how Government policy and delivery can be translated into clear and persuasive public-facing messages
