Principal Product Manager London | Hybrid (3 days onsite) | £110,000-£150,000 + 10% Bonus A growing technology business at the intersection of software, automation and life sciences is looking for a Principal Product Manager to help shape the future of its platform. This isn't a role for someone who just manages backlogs. You'll be tackling complex workflow, orchestration and integration challenges, working closely with engineering teams to turn powerful technology into products customers genuinely love using. What you'll be doing:

• Defining strategy and roadmap for core platform capabilities
• Solving complex workflow, scheduling and automation challenges
• Working across engineering, design, science and commercial teams
• Owning products from discovery through to adoption and measurable outcomes
• Influencing product direction at a company level
• Mentoring other Product Managers Background we're interested in:
• Senior / Principal Product Management experience
• Experience building platform, workflow or operational software products
• Startup, scale-up or founder mentality
• Strong technical curiosity and ability to work closely with engineers
• Experience handling ambiguity and creating clarity
• Bonus points for automation, AI, APIs, SDKs, developer products or complex systems Why it's interesting:
• Product problems that genuinely don't have obvious answers
• Opportunity to shape company-wide product strategy
• Highly technical environment with strong engineering teams
• Real-world impact in scientific research and discovery
• Significant ownership and autonomy This probably won't suit you if:
• You prefer highly structured enterprise environments
• You mainly focus on stakeholder management rather than product ownership
• You enjoy managing features more than solving complex systems problems
