Overview This is a permanent, full-time Junior Company Secretarial Assistant role at a commodities company based in London, paying £35,000 - £40,000. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the office (9am - 6pm) and two days working from home. The business operates at the highest levels of corporate governance, and this role sits right at the centre of that. You will be supporting board and committee administration, managing diaries and meetings, taking minutes, and handling statutory compliance work - all in an environment where the people across the table from you are CxOs and senior executives. This is not a role where you can stay in the background: you will be expected to communicate directly and calmly with very senior stakeholders from early on. For the right person - someone with strong academic grounding, a composed manner, and genuine ambition in governance - it is an exceptional place to build a career. Key Responsibilities

  • Direct exposure to board-level governance from day one, not after years of working up to it
  • A long-term career path in governance for someone who wants to grow in the field Challenges
  • Errors happen in front of the most senior people in the business, including the CEO. The role rewards composure and honest recovery, not perfection under no pressure.
