Senior Associate , Aviation, 5+ PQE

Kennedys is seeking a talented and ambitious Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Aviation team in London. As a global law firm with expertise in litigation and dispute resolution, we advise many of the world's leading insurers, airlines, aircraft operators, manufacturers and aviation service providers. Our Aviation team is recognised for handling complex, high-value and often multi-jurisdictional matters across the aviation sector, working closely with clients to deliver commercially focused solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to further develop their aviation practice within a collaborative and internationally connected team. The role You will work on a broad range of aviation claims, coverage and liability matters, including:

• Catastrophic and complex aviation losses
• Airline and operator liability disputes
• Aircraft and helicopter incidents
• Product liability and subrogated recovery actions
• Multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration
• Insurance coverage disputes
• Regulatory and risk management issues affecting aviation clients You will have direct client exposure from the outset, managing your own caseload while supporting partners on strategically important and high-profile matters. About You We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
• 6+ years' PQE
• Strong litigation and dispute resolution experience
• Experience gained within aviation, insurance, transport or another complex liability practice area
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Strong client relationship and business development capabilities
• A commercial mindset and proactive approach to client service
• Experience supervising and developing junior lawyers
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
