Mortgage Underwriter – Residential & Buy-to-Let Role Overview: We are looking for a Mortgage Underwriter with experience in Residential and Buy-to-Let (BTL) mortgages to manage end-to-end application processing and make informed lending decisions in line with lending policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and underwrite Residential and BTL mortgage applications.
• Review income, affordability, credit history, financial documents, and property information.
• Make approve, decline, or refer lending decisions within delegated authority.
• Identify risks, discrepancies, and missing information.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with lending criteria.
• Work with brokers, advisers, and internal teams to progress applications.
• Manage cases within agreed SLAs and quality standards. Systems: MQuBE & Salesforce — training will be provided.
