Technology Risk Consultant

Technology Risk Consultant opportunity in a brand new team in the manufacturing (IT/OT) sector. You will join a newly set up team and be responsible for providing assurance that the cyber & data controls in place are fit for purpose so that business & technology leaders have a useful view of the risk that the business is exposed to. Your role will require you to:

• identify where IT Security controls are failing & any non-compliance issues
• ensure that processes across the business are in line with the company's Cyber Security policy & technical control framework
• provide risk oversight and challenge where appropriate
• advise stakeholders on remediation options & make sound recommendations to them
• track how critical & high risks are mitigated To be successful in this role you should have:
• Experience in an IT Risk related role where you've been involved in 2nd line assurance
• Good technical understanding of IT Infrastructure, networks, applications & systems and the control layers for each
• Knowledge of identity access management, vulnerability management, incident response & threat intel/management
• Knowledge of risk frameworks such as ISO27001 & NIST This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a newly set up team to make a huge impact on a complex manufacturing organisation.
