Account Manager (AM)/Senior Account Manager (SAM) at GIG Health Salary: £35-50k approx, experience depending. Location: Farringdon, London    ABOUT US GIG Health is a 25-strong creative agency specialising in telling stories that improve people's health. We're proud of our reputation for creating engaging and evocative content for clients of all shapes and sizes. We work closely, as a team, to craft healthcare stories that will improve human health: we love knowing that our work improves the lives of people we'll never meet.

We're seeking a full-time Account Manager or Senior Account Manager to join our team. The successful applicant will have responsibility for multiple accounts in our portfolio, with work including the day-to-day management of projects and contributing to the growth of our accounts, and our business overall. GIG Health's account team is central to our structure, and this employee will work closely with all our business units, including strategy, digital, branding and video/motion, on creative projects. As a small-to-medium agency with a diverse client base, your work may be planning a large corporate website in the morning, then researching a niche medical condition in the afternoon, and anything in between. We also strongly believe in empowering all our employees to participate in the creative process, so you'll also have the chance to be hands on in the concept process. You would be joining our current team of an Account Director and Account Executive, and would be expected to work with both and either of them on certain accounts, and more independently on others; we manage teams according to the needs of each client relationship. The successful applicant will also be curious, and driven to discover ways to make themselves, and GIG Health, better. We're looking for someone familiar with using AI to accelerate rather than steer their work. An appetite to explore its potential as the tech develops – where it can help, where it can be unhelpful – is a strong plus. See our website, gig.health, for some examples of our work in the public domain. Healthcare-sector experience is not necessary but a willingness to learn about the nuances of healthcare communication is essential if you haven't worked in it before.   SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three years or more of in-agency professional experience
  • An ability to communicate and write fluently, fluidly and persuasively
  • Interest in learning about our clients' areas of business, from clinical trials, to disease awareness, to brand marketing
  • Experience in working with creative teams (motion, digital, design) is a plus, but not essential
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Experience in taking/giving a creative brief and putting together budgets and timelines
  • The ability to keep on top of many different projects at once
  • Super-sharp attention to detail
  • A people person – can read the room, adapt to different personalities
  • A positive challenger – who will ask important questions, even if doing so isn't comfortable
  • Confidence in managing clients as well as appeasing them – and diplomatically pushing back or counterpointing them if circumstances require it
  • A healthy interest in AI, but an equally healthy confidence in their own abilities, particularly in writing WHAT WE OFFER
  • Pension scheme contribution of up to 5% of salary
  • 24 days holiday per year, on top of bank holidays with an extra day for each 2 years of service
  • Full health and emergency dental cover
  • A positive and collaborative team to work with
  • An environment where we're always looking to push boundaries and produce the best outcome
  • A hybrid structure – we're in our studio 3 days per week with flexibility on your working hours (10-4 being our core hours)
  • Structured discovery days to expand your skillset
  • A company that cares about making a positive impact, offsetting our carbon footprint, donating to charities
  • Annual team away days
  • Team socials
  • Free tea, coffee and snacks in the office   If this sounds like your kind of role, then you're probably our kind of person. And if you've read this far down the ad we invite you to put ‘THOROUGH' in capitals somewhere in your application letter (first word is fine!) to show us you're one of the minority of applications who read the actual ad. IMPORTANT INFO 1: AVAILABILITY We're looking to fill this role soon; if your current notice period is over two months, it's probably not going to be possible. Candidates should be free for interview in the days after submitting their CVs.   IMPORTANT INFO 2: ACCESS   TO APPLY Please apply via email to our Account Director Bonnie Jack; bonnie@gig.health including;
  • A cover letter explaining who you are that you have written yourself
  • A CV Please note that we will not be reviewing applications sent via LinkedIn, applications obviously AI-written, or applications missing either of the two core elements. All applications will be reviewed by real people. Successful applicants will be invited to a 1-hour interview at our Central London offices. At this interview we can find out more about one another, and take it from there.
