Media Sales Manager

🚀 Sales Manager | Independent Media & Advertising Agency | Manchester 💷 £45k base DOE + significant, uncapped commission (realistically worth another £36k a year on top) We're recruiting on behalf of an independent, full-service media and advertising agency based in Manchester, coming up on ten years in business and built around doing marketing properly: unbiased, channel-agnostic, and led by what the client actually needs. Founded by an industry veteran with over 30 years in media and advertising, the agency works across a broad client portfolio spanning healthcare, public sector, retail and hospitality. This is a proper new business role with real scope, working directly alongside the founder and MD as the agency scales. 🎯 What you'll be doing

• Leading new business generation, from prospecting through to pitching and closing
• Building strategic partnerships and relationships with senior stakeholders
• Shaping commercial direction as the agency grows
• Working closely with the founder and MD on wider growth strategy and go-to-market planning ✅ What you'll bring
• A genuine feel for the Manchester media and advertising agency scene, who's who, who's hiring, who's winning
• A background in a growth or new business role agency side, or coming from the media owner selling side
• A solid grasp of media channels across the board, digital and traditional alike, think paid social and programmatic sitting comfortably alongside OOH, press and broadcast
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in advertising or media, with a demonstrable track record of bringing in new business
• Ideally, an existing network of contacts and clients built up over your career
• Based in Manchester or within easy commuting distance, this one's office based 💰 What's on offer
• Up to £45k base, DOE
• Significant, uncapped commission
