Head of Information Technology

Head of IT | London | On-site | Upto £115k DOE A fast-growing international retail business is looking for a hands-on Head of IT to lead, develop and modernise its technology function. This role suits someone who came up through engineering and has led IT in a retail business at scale. You'll be as comfortable troubleshooting infrastructure alongside your team as you are presenting to the Board. What you'll bring

• Senior IT leadership experience in a retail business operating at scale, with a nine-figure turnover and a multi-site store estate
• An understanding of retail's demands, including peak trading, store uptime and supporting teams across time zones
• A hands-on technical background, such as sysadmin, network, cloud or infrastructure engineering
• Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud, virtualisation, identity (AD, Entra ID, Okta), Mac and Windows device management, networking and security
• High growth retail org experience is ideal; scripting in PowerShell, Bash or Python is a plus
• The ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders and to prioritise under pressure
