Graduate Electrical Design Engineer

We're partnering with a growing building services consultancy seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join their design team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to develop their skills within a supportive consultancy environment, working on a range of commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and mixed-use projects. Role Purpose

• Assist in the design of electrical building services systems, including power, lighting, small power, fire alarms, and data systems.
• Support the production of calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentation.
• Develop designs using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
• Attend project meetings and site visits alongside senior engineers.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with current regulations, standards, and client requirements. Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design of electrical building services systems, including power, lighting, fire alarms and data systems.
• Support senior engineers in producing calculations, specifications and technical reports.
• Develop designs using industry-standard software.
• Attend project meetings and site visits when required.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Assist with project documentation and ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and standards. Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong interest in building services design.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or electrical design software would be advantageous.
