Business Development Executive - Commercial Industry

About us Focus Media is one of China's largest building media networks. It places digital advertising screens in the lifts and lobbies of residential, office and hospitality buildings. Focus Media UK is bringing this model to London. We are building our screen network and the team behind it from the ground up. The role You will bring London office buildings onto our screen network. You'll find the right buildings, win over the landlords and managers who decide, and sign placement agreements. The job is outbound and face-to-face, and much of your week is spent in meetings and building visits. What you'll do

• Build and work a target list of office buildings and business centres across London.
• Reach decision-makers (commercial landlords, asset managers, facilities managers and managing agents) by phone, email, LinkedIn and building visits.
• Run site visits and meetings. Show how screens improve the tenant experience and add value to the building.
• Negotiate placement terms and take each deal through to a signed agreement, supported by your manager.
• Hand signed buildings over to our Installation team, and stay their main contact until the screens are live.
• Keep the CRM up to date: activity, pipeline stage and next steps.
• Hit weekly activity targets and monthly targets for signed buildings. What we're looking for
• 1–3 years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in commercial property, facilities management or office services. Graduates with strong outbound experience are welcome.
• Comfortable cold-calling and meeting new people, and able to handle rejection.
• A basic understanding of how office buildings are owned and managed.
• Clear, confident spoken and written English.
• Organised and self-driven, with a steady weekly routine.
• Mandarin is a plus, but not required. What we offer
