Credit PM - Hedge Fund

We are partnering with a global hedge fund seeking to hire an experienced Long/Short Credit Portfolio Manager / Trader to join its London-based investment team. This is an opportunity for a proven credit trader or portfolio manager with a demonstrable track record of generating strong risk-adjusted returns through fundamental long/short credit investing across liquid corporate credit markets. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a proprietary long/short credit portfolio.
• Generate investment ideas across corporate bonds and/or CDS markets.
• Execute relative value, directional, and catalyst-driven trading strategies.
• Conduct fundamental credit analysis and identify mispriced opportunities across sectors and capital structures.
• Apply rigorous risk management and portfolio construction techniques.
• Work closely with senior investment professionals to drive portfolio performance and capital growth. Candidate Profile
• Approximately 10+ years of experience in credit trading, portfolio management, or principal investing.
• Proven experience trading corporate bonds and/or CDS.
• Strong understanding of fundamental credit analysis and market dynamics.
• Demonstrable track record of generating attractive returns in a long/short framework.
• Experience on either the buy-side or sell-side, although prior proprietary risk-taking experience is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on market dislocations. Key Requirements Successful candidates will be able to evidence:
