Staff Nurse

Band 5 nurse to meet JD as well as working within trauma & Orthopaedics outpatients dept. To work autonomously in daily dressings clinic, caring for patients with traumatic and chronic orthopaedic wounds. To be able to assess, treat and manage a wound. To report to senior nurses within the department. To work alongside clinic staffs supporting the consultant with Orthopaedic consultations, supporting patients through their visit, offering advice and care. Dressings clinic, skills in wound care and management, escalating to senior members of team where there is a concern. Safeguarding of patients Coordinating clinics Duties will be either dressings clinic or coordinating on separate days.
