• Increasing responsibility as your experience grows We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Brighton that's looking for an Audit Semi-Senior to join its growing team. It's a great opportunity for someone who's already gained some audit experience and wants to join a firm where they can continue studying, build their technical knowledge and gradually progress towards leading assignments. The Role You'll work closely with experienced Seniors and Managers, with responsibilities including:
• Assisting with audits from initial planning through to completion
• Completing audit fieldwork across a varied client portfolio
• Preparing audit working papers and documentation
• Liaising directly with clients and requesting information
• Identifying and discussing audit issues with senior team members
• Supporting and gradually supervising junior members of the team
• Assisting with statutory accounts where required
• Taking responsibility for more complex audit areas as you develop About You We're keen to hear from candidates with previous audit experience within a UK accountancy practice. Around 1-3 years' experience would be ideal, and you may already be studying towards ACA/ACCA.
