Solicitor - Planning and Environment

We are working with a top-tier law firm who are looking for an Associate to join their Planning & Environment team in Belfast.

The Role: The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Planning & Environmental team, advising developers, landowners, utilities and major corporate clients on complex development, energy and infrastructure projects across NI and the UK. The role will involve advising on planning applications and appeals, environmental impact and habitats assessments, environmental permitting and regulatory matters, contaminated land and environmental liability. The successful candidate will also support major renewable energy and development projects, advise on planning obligations and compulsory purchase matters, and gain exposure to contentious matters including enforcement and judicial review proceedings. Essential Criteria:

• 1+ years' PQE;
• Planning & environment law experience;
• Excellent academics;
• Strong commercial awareness;
• Strong communication skills;
• Team player;
