Senior Firmware Engineer

Senior Firmware Engineer now required in Gloucestershire to join an exciting start up company. Top level salary of £75k to £90k plus benefits on offer I am seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer with 10 years plus expertise developing low level Embedded software and a proven track record developing and delivering firmware from creating requirements, architecture design, implementation and release. Suitable applicants will have a relevant degree and the following skills:

• Embedded C/ C++
• ARM-based microcontrollers
• Experience with STM32 family
• Bare-metal development
• RTOS development (Zephyr, FreeRTOS)
• Embedded linux expertise
• Communications protocols (UART/I2C/SPI/LoRA)
• BLE/WiFi/GPRS interfacing
• Bootloaders and OTA fro updating multi processor products
• Experience debugging hardware using logic analysers and oscilloscopes It would be beneficial to have safety critical expertise and also a strong appreciation for hardware. Applicants should be excellent self driven and confident problem solvers with strong communication. You need to be the sort of Engineer who is able to get stuck into whatever is required.
