Global Senior Lead - Trading - £120,000 - £200,000 + Bonus

Job title: Global SRE Lead – Trading Client: Elite FinTech Salary: £120,000-£200,000 + Bonus Location: London Skills: SRE, Leadership, Linux, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Python The role: My client are seeking a Global SRE Lead to join their team. You will have overall responsibility for a team of over 20 globally distributed SRE's, working to ensure that the Platform it's at it's optimum uptime. The successful candidate will likely stem from a Trading / Financial Services background. You will have experience with managing global teams. The role will predominantly focus on SRE strategy, stakeholder management and platform reliability. This is not a hands off position. There will be an expectation to be involved in key incidents at a high level, and provide escalated support where required. You should have a broad overview of some of the following technologies, and be well versed in SRE best practices:

• Linux
• Chef, Puppet or Ansible
• Kubernetes, Docker, or Podman
• CI/CD
• Python
• IaC – Terraform, Helm, Ansible, Pulumi, Bicep
• DR
• Block / Blob Storage
