Care and Support Worker, Extra Care

Valley Care has an exciting opportunity for care workers in the Stockport area to join our new extra care scheme as a care and support worker based in the Cheadle area of Stockport, supporting adults aged 55 and over. Our Benefits Include

• Early shifts

• Late shifts

• Alternate weekend working You'll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults to live fulfilling lives.

• Our care workers are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.

• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.

• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes

• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks

• Support with administrating medication.

• Assisting clients on social visits and activities. Requirements
