Management Accountant

Your new company Our client is a growing business and a market leader within their sector, working across the UK and Ireland. They are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their successful Finance team based in. Your new role As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant legislation. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing month and year-end reporting, as well as assisting with group interactions.
• Financial business partnering different teams across the business
• Supporting external audits, VAT/Tax/Customs returns, and company cashflow forecasting.
• Preparing management accounts, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and providing cost visibility to managers.
• Assisting in budget preparation, forecast deadlines, and VAT returns.
• Collaborating with external auditors and ensuring effective facility management. What you'll need to succeed To excel in this role, you will ideally be:
• A Qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) or qualified by experience.
• Proficient in financial accounting up to trial balance and ideally management accounts.
• Highly skilled in Excel (including pivot tables and lookups).
• Experienced in finance systems, processes, and accounting principles.
