Head of Finance

A growing UK manufacturing/distribution business, serving domestic and international markets, is seeking an experienced Head of Finance to lead its finance function and business-partner closely with the Commercial Director as the business stabilises and grows. Key Responsibilities

• Own cash-flow management, forecasting, and reporting
• Deliver monthly management accounts and lead period close
• Oversee transaction processing and ensure accurate postings
• Manage central costs and intercompany recharges
• Handle statutory filing, compliance, and company-secretarial matters
• Business-partner senior leadership on stock risk and operational decisions
• Lead and develop a small on-site finance team Key Requirements
• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE (qualified by experience)
• Proven experience in a similarly-sized business
• Mature, hands-on finance business partner able to support and challenge senior stakeholders
• Strong forecasting and stock/inventory risk experience
• Comfortable working on-site full time
