Role Description This full-time, on-site role in Hong Kong focuses on:

• Lead and oversee engineering and project management activities for waste management facilities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, government departments, consultants, contractors and technology providers.
• Provide technical input and oversee project implementation, ensuring compliance with contractual, environmental and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve facility performance, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness. Qualifications Candidates must meet all three of the following requirements:

1. Professional qualification Current corporate or professional membership of at least one of the following institutions: ·       Hong Kong Institution of Engineers ·       Institution of Civil Engineers (UK) ·       Institution of Structural Engineers (UK) ·       Institution of Chemical Engineers (UK) ·       Institution of Mechanical Engineers (UK) ·       Institution of Electrical Engineers (UK) ·       Institution of Engineers Australia ·       Institution of Professional Engineers New Zealand ·       Hong Kong Institute of Qualified Environmental Professionals (HKIQEP)
2. Relevant experience A minimum of 12 years of relevant experience gained after obtaining the above professional qualification, with 15 years or more preferred, as a key project team member responsible for managing projects involving waste management facilities, for example: ·       Landfills ·       Waste disposal or storage facilities ·       Waste transfer stations ·       Waste recycling facilities ·       Waste treatment facilities
3. Academic qualification A bachelor's degree or higher in business management, science or an engineering discipline. Additional Attributes ·       Strong technical judgement, leadership and stakeholder management skills. ·       Proven ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams. ·       A practical approach to problem solving, with a focus on safety, quality and project delivery. ·       Familiarity with Hong Kong's environmental infrastructure and government project requirements would be an advantage.
