• Salary:£30- £45 per hour (UMBRELLA) (negotiable based on experience)

• Length of Placement: Temporary (ongoing sick cover, potentially until October half term, not guaranteed)

We are seeking an experienced A-Level Chemistry Lecturer to join our team at the East Sussex Campus. This role involves teaching AQA Chemistry specifications and is crucial for maintaining high-quality education during a period of staff absence.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Monday: 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
• Tuesday: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM (TBC)
• Thursday: 10:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in A-Level Chemistry following AQA specifications.
• Prepare students for examinations and assessments.
• Adapt teaching methods to cater to varying student needs and learning styles.
• Maintain academic records and monitor student progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an A-Level Chemistry Lecturer.
• Strong familiarity with AQA Chemistry specifications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and inspire students.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
