We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading marine engineering business in Aberdeen.
What we're looking for: ✅ 5-10 years' experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
✅ Strong background in lifting equipment design & lifting calculations
✅ Experience with fabrication, structural analysis and marine equipment
✅ Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and Mathcad
✅ Knowledge of industry standards including DNV, LOLER and PUWER
✅ Degree/HND in Mechanical or Marine Engineering
The role: 🔹 Design and develop bespoke offshore and marine handling equipment
🔹 Produce calculations, technical reports and manufacturing drawings
🔹 Perform lifting and structural analysis using industry software
🔹 Support projects from concept through to installation and commissioning
🔹 Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers
