About the job

Senior Product Engineer | London | Hybrid | £100k–£120k + meaningful equity Does this sound like you? “I'm a product engineer who cares about the subtle details users feel - frame rate, gestures, loading states, video performance and whether something is actually enjoyable to use.” If so, this is an opportunity to build a consumer product from the beginning in a market whose dominant user experience has barely changed in 20 years. I'm hiring a Senior Product Engineer for a startup building a video-first property discovery app - swipe through walkthroughs rather than click through galleries. £2m seed raised. Apps launching this month. London launch in January. You'll be shipping from week one. What you'll work on Most engineers work on a slice of a product, but here you'll work across almost all of it.

  • The consumer app - a React Native/Expo app across iOS and Android, including the video feed, search, maps + social features
  • The agent app - used by estate agents to film properties + manage their listings
  • Web + admin - the customer-facing website + internal platform, built with React + Next.js
  • Mobile releases - shipping to the App Store + Google Play What you'll work with React Native + Expo | React + Next.js | TypeScript | Supabase + Postgres/PostGIS | Vercel You should have:
  • Shipped React Native apps to the App Store + Google Play
  • Strong React + TypeScript experience
  • Built polished consumer products where performance + interaction quality matter
  • Enough backend/database depth to work comfortably across the product
  • An appetite for a deliberately broad role rather than specialising in one layer They are paying £100k–£120k + meaningful equity. Hybrid in Central London (3/days a week) Interviews are happening throughout October and they'll move quickly.
