Chief Financial Officer

About the Role A national, privately held capital equipment SME is seeking a commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to join its Executive Leadership Team. Operating across various divisional businesses, you will support an ambitious growth agenda, including organic development and strategic acquisitions. The successful candidate will shape and execute a robust financial strategy, reporting to the Chief Executive. You will operate across a complex, fast-paced, multi-subsidiary business and play a key role on the Executive Leadership Team. Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the finance strategy
• Oversee the central and divisional finance teams
• Strengthen budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting and management information
• Provide commercial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making
• Oversee governance, risk, legal, audit and regulatory compliance
• Manage cash flow, working capital and balance sheet performance
• Build strong relationships with lenders, HMRC and other external stakeholders
• Partner with the leadership team Qualifications & Required Skills
• CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualification
• Understanding of supply chain challenges, project financing, bill of materials
• Multi-site industrial environments, diverse subsidiaries within a Group
• Intellectual curiosity and exceptional communication skills
