Head Of Engineering West Yorkshire Competitive Salary + package Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a manufacturing business in West Yorkshire to recruit a Head of Engineering. As the business continues to grow, the Head of Engineering will play a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Managing Director and taking overall responsibility for the engineering function, delivering strategic objectives and driving operational performance across the organisation. Duties of the Head of Engineering

• Act as the technical authority for engineering and regulatory compliance, supporting quality and compliance audits.
• Oversee the design and development of products, ensuring projects are delivered cost-effectively, on time, and in line with customer requirements
• Drive the engineering R&D programme, identifying future market opportunities and implementing cost-reduction initiatives
• Serve as the company's technical representative with customers, industry bodies, standards committees, and trade associations
• Provide expert guidance on design, engineering standards, and technical specifications across the business.
• Maintain and develop a comprehensive database of customer and industry specifications, particularly within highly regulated environments We are looking for Head of Engineer with the following:
• Degree qualified within a relevant Engineering field
• Proven experience in a senior engineering leadership or engineering management role within manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Experience leading product development, R&D programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to support customers and sales teams on technical matters.
• Skilled in driving cross-functional collaboration and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
