Interim Senior Financial Accountant UK University North-West England Hybrid (3 days on-site) FTC – Competitive Salary 6 months Our Higher Education client is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Financial Accountant to play a key role within its Finance function, supporting a complex, internationally focused organisation. Reporting to the Head of Finance Operations and Finance Director, you'll take the lead across a varied portfolio including:

• Financial statements, year-end and external audit
• Treasury, cashflow and foreign currency management
• Tax and VAT
• Capital accounting and major investment projects
• Financial controls and process improvement
• Leadership of the Finance Operations transactions team This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll combine technical accounting expertise with leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement, working closely with colleagues across Finance and the wider organisation. You'll be an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience and the confidence to operate in a complex, regulated environment.
