Volunteer Sales Assistant - Chorley

Do you love chatting to people and brightening their day? Come and join our friendly team at our Chorley shop and help us create a brilliant shopping experience for everyone who walks through the door. As a shop volunteer, you'll be part of the team helping our shop run smoothly. You might be welcoming customers, serving on the till, keeping the shop looking tidy and inviting, or chatting to donors and encouraging them to sign up for Gift Aid. Most importantly, you'll help create the warm, friendly atmosphere that makes our shops such lovely places to visit. What You'll Get From Volunteering You'll gain hands-on retail experience, learn new skills and meet lots of lovely people, all while knowing that your time is helping raise vital funds for local children and young people at Derian House. Volunteers also receive a shop discount, can get involved in volunteer events and social activities, and lunch and travel expenses are available when minimum hours apply. When can I volunteer? We have morning and afternoon sessions available from Monday to Saturday, so there should be an opportunity to find something that works for you.
