You will negotiate cloud-provider agreements, manage research and publisher relationships, support grant applications, and coordinate with research, legal, finance, and leadership stakeholders. Requirements

• Experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or technology transfer
• Experience directly managing cloud-provider agreements
• Technical background in materials science, chemistry, physics, mathematics, life sciences, or a related field
• Exposure to AI agents, Model Context Protocol interfaces, or related areas
• Ability to translate scientific goals into commercial proposals
• Ability to build partnership frameworks in an early-stage environment Responsibilities
• Lead negotiations and manage strategic relationships with compute providers
• Monitor and optimise compute usage agreements against the technical roadmap and budget
• Identify, negotiate, and close partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
• Manage relationships with scientific publishers for data ingestion and collaborative research
• Navigate intellectual-property and technology-transfer complexities
• Identify relevant grant opportunities with the research team
• Lead commercial and partnership aspects of grant applications
• Cultivate relationships with funding bodies and consortium stakeholders
• Align partnership priorities with company milestones
• Partner with AI researchers and chemists to understand data and compute requirements
