Experienced Family Paralegal

• Location: Surrey, South East
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: Circa £28,000-£32,000 (DOE)

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist family solicitors in managing caseloads involving divorce, child custody, and property settlements.
• Prepare legal documents, briefs, and letters under the supervision of solicitors.
• Conduct legal research and compile evidence for cases.
• Manage client communications and provide updates on case progress.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and maintaining case files.
• Attend court proceedings and client meetings alongside solicitors.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Paralegal within a family law team, with fee-earning capabilities.
• Strong understanding of family law and court procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant paralegal qualification or equivalent legal experience.
