KS1 Teacher (Year 1 or Year 3) - Maidstone

Location: Maidstone, Kent

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:30pm

Contract: Long-Term

Pay: Competitive Daily Rate

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Maidstone on a long-term basis. The successful candidate will be happy to teach either Year 1 or Year 3, depending on the school's needs, and will be committed to delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that support pupils' academic and personal development.

The Role

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday
• Teaching either Year 1 or Year 3
• Planning, preparation, and marking required
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Monitoring pupil progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
• Working closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a primary school setting
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Confident delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
• A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to commit to a long-term role
