Location: Southampton
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
The Role
A fast-paced customer-focused role involving the preparation of quotations, follow-up calls, and supporting customers through the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up quotes by phone and email to secure business opportunities.
- Prepare and send accurate customer quotations.
- Ensure a fast turnaround on enquiries.
- Build strong customer relationships and provide excellent service.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends.
- Share customer feedback and insights with management.
Requirements
- Experience within shipping, logistics, freight, or a similar environment is advantageous.
- Good attention to detail.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Basic maths and IT skills.
- Reliable, positive, and organised approach.
