Semi Senior Accountant

Accounts Semi Senior – Chichester In this role, you'll be preparing year-end accounts, corporation tax returns, VAT returns and other accounting work for a varied portfolio of clients within a supportive accountancy practice. What's on Offer?

• Ongoing training and professional development We're working with a well-established accountancy practice in Chichester that's looking to add an Accounts Semi Senior to its growing team. This is a great opportunity if you're looking to build on your existing practice experience, take on more responsibility and continue developing your technical skills in a firm where you'll be supported long-term. The Role Your day-to-day work will include:
• Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Preparing corporation tax returns
• Completing VAT returns and supporting bookkeeping work
• Assisting with management accounts where required
• Working with cloud accounting software including Xero
• Liaising directly with clients and helping with day-to-day queries
• Working closely with senior team members while gradually taking on more responsibility About You We're keen to hear from anyone with previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice. You could be AAT qualified, ACA/ACCA part-qualified, or simply building your experience through practice. You don't need to tick every box.
