Senior Commercial Manager

INTERIM SENIOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER-Home based; needing existing SC clearance Our client is a leading business delivering IT Services to a Defence sector customer. They are recruiting a senior commercial manager to be responsible for a scope of work that includes in-life and new business which will be both customer and supplier facing. Role

• Experienced senior commercial manager with a remit that covers in life commercial management as well as the negotiation of new business.
• Lead and manage on existing issues that require working through both internally and with the respective customers and suppliers to achieve greater clarity.
• Educate other internal functions on commercial management best practice.
• Work autonomously with minimal need for supervision. Experience
• You will have been a senior commercial manager on complex IT Services contracts.
• IT Services experience is essential.
• Experience of working in an unstructured environment is highly desirable. Location and Travel
• Home based with 2-3 days travel per month in the South East. Contract length and day rate
• Initial 3 months-with likelihood of extension.
• Up to £650 per day inside IR35, dependent on experience. Possibly higher for very relevant experience. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a sales or account management role. Please only apply for this role if you have significant experience of commercial contract negotiation.
