Company Description AARVA is a doctor-led private clinic that brings together GP medicine, diagnostics, regenerative medicine, women's health, and medical-grade skin care under one CQC-registered roof. Every patient is seen by a qualified doctor who focuses on identifying and treating root causes rather than only managing surface symptoms. Founded by two practising NHS doctors, AARVA is designed for people seeking comprehensive, long-term health investment in a single, trusted setting. The clinic has a particular focus on women's health, including perimenopause, hormone-related concerns, and issues often avoided elsewhere. AARVA is outcome-driven rather than sales-driven, prioritizing safety, necessity, and consistent care for every patient. Role Description The Lifestyle Medicine Doctor will provide holistic, evidence-based medical care that integrates clinical assessment with lifestyle interventions, including nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, and behavior change. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with patients, taking detailed medical histories, performing examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized care plans. The role involves close collaboration with other clinicians to manage complex cases, with a strong focus on women's health, regenerative medicine options, and long-term prevention strategies. The doctor will document all encounters thoroughly, contribute to clinical protocols, and participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Birmingham. Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and full registration with the relevant medical council; eligibility to practice in the UK.
  • Qualification in lifestyle medicine is essential.
  • Postgraduate training in General Practice, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty is highly beneficial.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills, including safe prescribing and use of evidence-based guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and support sustainable behaviour change.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, with a collaborative, patient-centered approach and commitment to ethical, outcome-focused care.
  • Comfort with using electronic medical records, digital tools, and data to inform clinical decisions and track patient outcomes.
  • Ongoing commitment to continuing professional development and staying current with emerging research in lifestyle medicine, women's health, and regenerative therapies.
