We're recruiting an Area Sales Manager specialising in HVAC, focusing on electric motors and variable speed drives (VSDs), for a well-established manufacturer of industrial electrical products. Location:

• £70,000 Starting Salary
• Uncapped Commission
• Company Car or Car Allowance
• Remote Working Responsibilities:
• Territory Growth: Push for regional growth by developing a sales strategy to hit revenue targets across London and the South East.
• Pipeline Management: Identify, qualify, and close high-value projects using a structured CRM system to track progress.
• Technical Specification: Partner with MEP consultants, blueprint designers, and energy managers to embed our motor and drive solutions into early-stage HVAC project specs.
• Client Management: Manage existing relationships with mechanical contractors, BMS providers, and facilities management companies.
• Energy Consultations: Conduct site surveys to demonstrate ROI, calculating how upgrading to high-efficiency motors and variable speed controllers lowers total cost of ownership.
• Lifecycle Services: Promoting preventative maintenance contracts, retrofits, and drive system upgrades. Experience:
• 3–5 years of field sales or account management experience within the UK HVAC, building services, or industrial automation sector.
• Good technical understanding of electric motors, variable speed drives (VSDs/inverters), or electronic motor control systems.
• An existing network of commercial contractors, consultants, or facilities management contacts within the London/South East territory is highly desirable. WCL ID: 7869
