Prime Brokerage Release Manager - Global Investment Bank - Hong Kong

Our client - a global investment bank in Hong Kong is hiring a Senior Release Manager to sit on the trading floor and own all tech change for its DPS (Dynamic Portfolio Swaps) platform. This is the central orchestrator role accountable for release quality, platform stability and scalability as volumes grow. The role will involve a mixture of responsibilities including release management, production resilience, business analysis. The Role:

• Chair weekly DPS Change Forum and own go/no-go decisions, release calendar and final sign-off
• Govern end-to-end changes across OMS, execution, booking, risk, ops and reporting - managing dependencies and preventing release collisions.
• Lead delivery of DPS platform changes, legacy migrations and low-latency initiatives from scope to hypercare
• Define test strategy (SIT, regression, UAT), rollback plans, and post-release validation to minimise client impact
• Drive stress testing and real-time monitoring to identify capacity bottlenecks and improve resilience
• Own reporting on release readiness, incidents, capacity and service quality; maintain workflows, runbooks and impact assessments
• Act as central SME and coordination point across Front Office, Structuring, Sales, Risk, Ops, Finance and global Tech What you offer:
• Degree in CS / IT / Finance / Engineering.
• Proven release / change governance lead in Investment Banking / Prime Brokerage tech
• Strong domain knowledge in Synthetic Prime Brokerage & Dynamic Portfolio Swaps (DPS) front-to-back - trades, valuations, financing, margin, collateral, corporate actions
• Experience with complex cross-platform releases, CABs, dependency management and production resilience
• Exposure to capacity management, performance monitoring and stress testing for high-volume trading platforms
• Strong stakeholder management with trading floor experience; comfortable with Agile, Unix/Linux, Python, log analysis
