Product Development, ETF and Index Solutions - Asset Manager

An established global asset manager with a strong Asia footprint is building out its Hong Kong ETF and index product bench. The role sits inside the Product Development and Innovation team, and the grade can flex from a junior seat through to Manager depending on experience. The door is genuinely open to both early-career talent and those with a few cycles under their belt. What you'll do ·        Research ETF, index and passive product opportunities across markets, from concept through to launch. ·        Interrogate large datasets to build the market intelligence behind product decisions, using platforms like Bloomberg and Morningstar. ·        Support the design and calibration of index strategies, benchmarks and passive vehicle structures. ·        Manage the lifecycle of live products, from performance monitoring through to enhancements. ·        Partner with investment, distribution, operations, legal and compliance teams to move initiatives forward. ·        Contribute to broader platform strategy and pick up ad-hoc projects as they arise. What you'll bring ·        Either zero to one year of relevant experience, or three to five years in an ETF, index research, passive products or product development seat within asset management. ·        Genuine interest in ETFs, indexing and passive investment strategies; direct exposure to indexing through the full cycle is a strong plus. ·        Comfort with large datasets and hands-on fluency with Bloomberg, Morningstar and similar research platforms. ·        Bachelor's degree in a numerate or business-facing discipline (quantitative finance, accounting and finance, economics, business administration or similar). ·        Working proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, with the ability to read Traditional Chinese. ·        Practical exposure to modern data analytics or AI-powered tools. ·        Sharp communicator, well organised, and a genuine team player.
